Critique Services
If you’re needing help with polishing your manuscript, then editing/critiquing services are a must. Writers who have chosen to work with me have gone on to win writing awards and publishing contracts. I offer a variety of economical packages that may suit your needs so that you may also become a part of this elite group.
I critique/edit manuscripts* for complete and partial novels, Novellas, Children’s books, Short stories and Flash fiction.
File types** accepted are Word, PDF, Scrivener, Adobe InDesign book files and Rich Text.
* Please contact me if your manuscript is more than 110,000 words or is a children’s book, short story or flash fiction.
** If you prefer to mail your manuscript, a $10 return shipping fee will be charged.
Critique Plans
If you only need a fresh set of eyes to look over your text then an Express Edit is more up your alley. Suggested for seasoned writers in need of cleanup.

- 1-2 pages (dependent on manuscript length) of detailed summary of the critique with suggestions customized just for you.
- 5 free follow-up questions for or further explanation of critique suggestions after you receive and review your manuscript. Questions can be asked in a group or individually.
A Regular Edit is suggested if you’re needing a little more input on the flow of your storyline and technique to tighten up your manuscript.

Deposit
As a show of good faith, a 30% deposit is required to schedule critique services. I send invoices for the remaining amount with the balance of payment due within 10 days. A flexible payment plan is negotiable for up to 4 installments instead of 2 (i.e. the deposit then remaining balance). We can discuss what is a comfortable payment plan for you.
Editorial Contract
We will discuss the requirements of your project (cost, time frame). If you decide to use my services, I will draw up a standard editorial contract summarizing the agreed upon terms discussed. No changes to quoted price or negotiated terms will be made without contacting you first.
